Lighten the ‘LIVE’ CE Requirement not all of us are text savvy or even on a regular computer

This is an insensitive approach to a professionally licensed organization.

This is an unprecedented time and some flexibility needs to be made by the Dental Hygiene Board of California. Thank you.

There are two offices that I am aware of that are remaining open here in San Diego for routine dental appointments. So disappointing.

I have been out of work for 3 weeks now , no unemployment yet and no back to work day set up yet. Money is tight , please postpone.

I need to renew my license by the end of May but need to take my CPR/BSL, which we cannot do due to COVID-19 and sheltering in place.

My office is going to be closed for 3 weeks without pay. New information is coming in daily and the closure could be longer per guidelines of our government and cdc. I have filed for unemployment but the income I need to afford living expenses won’t be there. Putting payment on hold for future payment would help me recuperate to recover loses. Please consider. Thank you

Please reconsider and takin into count how this is affecting society as a whole.

We are the hardest hit by the shutdown ... we are making pennies if that... what would a delay of 2-3 months harm? I have two licenses and that’s a huge hit when not working ! Please help us!

Dear Governor Newsom, My license is up for renewal in August. That requires me to have completed all CE, 12.5 that must be in person by end of July to be submitted. I HAVE to take a mandatory CPR renewal class in June/July, renews every 2 years. Unless this Pandemic comes to an end and I am able to do this course (live), I will not be able to meet the requirements to renew my RDH license, which essentially will make me ineligible to work. I am already laid off of work as a non-essential worker that could potentially contribute, by doing my job, to the spread of CoVid19. Please consider postponing the renewal of our CA RDH license. It would be a shame that when we win the fight against CoVid19, that I would not be able/eligible to return to work due to the inability of being able to meet the final requirement for the renewal of my Dental Hygiene license. No active license, no work. Thank you, Governor Newsom for your consideration of this petition. I am an RDHAP forced to stay home during this time without an end date due to COVID-19. Please extend the license renewal deadline.

I don’t need more time to collect CEU but would appreciate more time to pay the renewal fee due to current unemployment from the public health crisis.
