Hello, I created this petition for the hard-working class of 2020. This is for the educators and faculty members who stand by the students they've had the pleasure of supporting and teaching. This is for the students who took 15 credits (or more) to graduate on time. This is for the students who didn't graduate on time but still pushed hard to finish. This is for all students with disabilities (visible and non-visible). This is for all the students who thought their background, intelligence, and mental health issues would stop them from graduating from college but it didn't. This is for all the students who deserve to graduate.

A graduation ceremony symbolizes immense accomplishment, not only for the many awaiting students but for their loved ones. This petition is to push for postponing SCSU's Class of 2020 graduation. Although COVID-19 is the reason for the decision for cancellation, a possibility for graduation postponement is also doable.
