Class of 2020 has worked incredibly hard over the last four years. While we understand the severity of the COVID-19 outbreak, you must also understand the significance of this year for us. Senior prom is something you dream of from childhood. We, class of 2020, have finally reached the biggest moment of our lives so far. We’ve been waiting, and working tirelessly, just to reach this point. To cancel without any mention of rescheduling, is to destroy the dreams of high school seniors. This is a petition for the Rockdale County Board to reschedule the proms of Rockdale County High School, Rockdale Magnet School, Salem High School, and Heritage High School for a later, safer date.
