Enfield town has a current population of approx 4,400, a large proportion of which are of school going age

Our local primary school is rapidly expanding with 500+ pupils attending making it one of the largest in the Meath/Kildare area.

We feel that it is no longer acceptable that all of these children must travel outside of Enfield to complete their Post Primary Education.

We urgently need your support to convince the DES (Department of Education & Skills) to grant us our Post Primary School. Please provide your details in the spaces provided to show your support.

I would love to see Enfield village with a Secondary school to facilitate all our school going children. It's not right that they have to leave their village. Government well able to approve planning for houses but what about the facilities to meet the growing population???

Secondary school badly needed for all the local community children, it's not fair having to put our kids on busses at 7.50 each morning too travel to school and pay €350 per year to do so because we don't have any other choice...

A secondary school is urgently need ,as a parent of 4 kids who love to walk to the school . It will be an unnecessary extra cost the fares for the bus . A community like Enfield with a growing population should be get a secondary school as soon as possible.

This is desperately needed for The ever frowning population of Enfield. My three children are 8, 6 & 4 and there are 90 children in each of their years in school, that is 270 children that will have to travel to other communities in order to receive a post primary education. This is very very wrong

With 3 young boys to be educated in the coming years i would love to see Enfield get it's own post primary. I see my own sister who has just completed her junior certificate and she has to commute to maynooth for to receive the standard of education she deserves.

Promised in the n4 education corridor plans from years ago, forgotten during the crash years, Enfield children should not be disadvantaged economically and in their lifestyles because of having to travel to other towns for school.
