We, the undersigned, want the Cold Spring Harbor School District administration and Board of Education to reconsider the Proposed School Calendar for the 2015-16 school year. The undersigned wish to have the first day of school continue to be after Labor Day. Understanding the difficulty of scheduling due to state testing in early April and a misaligned Easter and Passover, we would like to come up with additional options. In addition, we ask that the BOE and administration address and poll the school community including all families and faculty in the above decision.
