Mr Williams/ Mrs Wilson, Many people in year 12 have heard that we may have to wear a uniform next year. Whether this is true or not, we feel that this decision is being made on the basis of what a select number of girls are wearing- we feel it is not fair on the rest of us. Most of us will not be able to afford to go out and buy a complete new set of uniform in a set few months that we will only be able to wear it for less than a year. We feel that getting a uniform would be taking away our responsibilities- most of us comply with the rules and we believe that the girls who wear revealing clothes should be targeted personally rather than punishing the whole year group by getting a uniform. Wearing our own clothes is a privilege that most of us joined sixth- form to have and the girls who break the rules should not be the ones to ruin this for the rest of us: this should apply to the boys too.
