My recent decision to create a “Good News only” newspaper, and the staggering feed-back that I’ve had since, has led me to realise how disillusioned the general public are with reading mainly bad news.The international news media is being supplied with, and in turn publishing, mainly negative news. The way that this mainstream news is communicated - predominantly with the absence of any good news - is making us feel like we are bad news.Much of the depression and fear in the world is a result of the deluge of mainly negative news that infiltrates our hearts and homes. It is important that we become conscious of this fact; as the way that weare being made to feel couldn’t be further from the truth.

Never before in the history of humanity have there been so many people helping others; nor so much new technology that has changed our lives so quickly and so completely; nor so many staggering naturaland scientific discoveries being made, and cures being found. Never before have we been so prepared to identify problems and find solutions. We are beautiful, intelligentand loving people. We are Good News!

If you too are exasperated with the one-sided publishing of bad news, then sign this petition and help us to voice our opinion to the international news media and world. By capitalising on the considerable global reach of the internet, we intend to encourage major news publications to redress the balance and inject some positivity back into their reporting.

Please help us in our effort to bring respect, accuracy, balance, optimism and honour back into international news reporting and the public eye.

Reading the world news can and should leave us feeling like there is hope… and celebrating all that is good in the world. Mi reciente decisión de crear un periódico con "sólo Buenas Noticias", y las respuestas tan sorprendentes que he recibido desde entonces, me han llevado a darme cuenta de lo desilusionada que está la gente con la lectura constante de malas noticias.

Los noticieros internacionales están recibiendo y, a su vez, están publicando, sobre todo, noticias negativas. La forma en que se comunican las noticias en los principales medios de comunicación – con una notable ausencia de buenas noticias – nos hace sentir como si las malas noticias fuéramos nosotros.Gran parte de la depresión y el miedo que sufre este mundo son resultado de la avalancha de malas noticias que infiltran nuestros hogares y nuestros corazones. Es importante que nos hagamos conscientes de este hecho, ya que cómo se nos hace sentir no podría alejarse más de la realidad.

Nunca antes en la historia de la humanidad ha habido tanta gente ayudando a otras personas, ni tanta tecnología para cambiar nuestras vidas tan rápida ysignificativamente, ni ha habido nunca tantos descubrimientos naturales y científicos tan asombrosos, ni se han descubierto tantos remedios. Nunca antes habíamos estado tan dispuestos a identificar los problemas y encontrarles solución. Somos gente hermosa, inteligente y amorosa. ¡Somos Buenas Noticias!
