Something needs to be done . Boomgates should be put up at every railway crossing.

I too, drive road trains & it is nearly impossible , not to mention scary, to see the lights start to flash at a crossing. I think having warning lights placed 300 meters back just may save more peoples lives.

Hi I feel me as a fellow Australian and served my time on the road all over our country and I must say the only thing that has ever saved me from being hit by a train is me. Yes me because the lack help and signage or maintenance that puts everyone even families traveling together in a car. So get of your backsides please and make them all safe.

Good work Nikki. After visiting the sight we can never do enough as for us it is too late but if this can save other in the future we can take comfort with that.

Need more safety lights to warn of approaching crossing. All trains should have lights on all trailers just as a truck has too, It would make them more visible, and possibly save lives.
