Let's make a safety change at Rural Railway crossings

What about the fact that when approaching the crossing from the south that there is a sharp bend, then a narrow bridge before any form of sign alerting you to a railway crossing. Perhaps large reduce speed signs before the bridge and not to mention the setting summer sun behind you shining into the red flashing lights so not sure if they are actually flashing. Only the locals know the traps. Anyone else is heading towards a death trap. That railway track is a main artery to Melbourne so let's get it up to Highway standards. School buses??? Can't even think about that.......

Please consider placing a second set of lights prior to these crossing as a safety concern as many people including myself do don't look when crossing the lines unless you see them flashing.
To many life's are taken and if we had a second set of lights to make us a bit more aware then this should be consided.
