I sign with great pride. It is with "chest out" pride that I sign this. I was afraid that the young people, now would never feel the true patriotism that I felt as a child during World War ll, We all were pulling together, not at odd angles as we seem to be, now. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

We need to acknowledge and celebrate those who have given everything for our benefit. Ken's vision to recognize each fallen soldier celebrates everyone who supports our history and the sacrifices made for freedom.

I have been touched deeply by these portraits by Mr. Pridgeon. Emotions of sadness, gratitude, and pride and just a few. As I watch the news, fear of where this nation is being led overwhelms me, but then I see these brave men and women and are somehow comforted. I owe my freedom to so many, it is the least we can do so their deaths are not in vain. Remember, a nation that does not stand behind it's Service men and women, not long endures. Thank all of you and the families that have sacrificed everything for my family.

I have been lucky to survive my time in war and will never need to memorialized on a monument. But I was and I am lucky only because of the sacrifice of my friends and brothers in the military. God bless you and your work. Press on...
