I have walked the golf course in Portishead for the last 38 years. Who is protecting the rights of way? This is a wonderful area on natural beauty & should be there for all to enjoy!

I have lived in Portishead for 46 years and have enjoyed walking across the golf course andd along the coastal path with my children and grandchildren. I am dismayed that this lovely rolling green space could be taken away from us.

Portishead Golf Course should be set aside for the people of Portishead and future members of the town.

I have lived here for 32 years . I have frequently used the area for walking . I am totally opposed to this proposed alteration because 1.There has been no consultation 2.The appearance would be markedly worsened 3.The altered water run off in heavy rain is likely to be problematic . The present dramatic slope requires no alteration and should be available to walkers , dog owners and golfers alike

what will the proposed 4 metre high wall look like to the regualr users of the coastal path? this coastal path is used by many people every day and this sounds exactly like the same threat of closing the gold course to walkers that was used by the council 25 years ago - since this time the course has been used as a general ammenity to all comers but especially dog walkers.
My husband has lived here for 57 years and says it has always be public access, and says no to land fill or any other changes plus unlock the gates we paid for the,

A project as major as this should have had a proper consultation period with an informed debate. The natural landscape should be protected.

Love golf, dislike defacing a natural landscape for the sake of it.

No geological survey prior to planning being given. That is unheard of considering the location and amount of work intended?

We should encourge the protection of our green spaces

Why were we not consulted It really requires further Constituant discussion. Being a golfer myself, I can see the attraction, however, it is open for golfers at present, but being a daily dog walker at nariant times of day, I have frankly, never seen more than 3/5 people playing in a week, if that, during the winter! So why allow 'Landfil' contractors to bring lorry loads of ?????destroying the wonderful ambience, beauty, & wonderful asset that has been enjoyed by so many, it would be an absolute travesty, It must be stopped at all costs...Mr Pasley we deserve to know the thinking behind this destruction.

I have lived in Portishead most of my life and the majority of I have walked the golf course and looked upon it as one place in Pirtishead which is a special place , it's outrageous that the council think they can push this planning through !!
