This has always meant to be a facility for the community, teh council cannot bypass this by letting it to another business, and in any event that business should be bound by the original charter

I have always lived in Portishead and have played golf whilst growing up and would love to continue to take my children there too. We are crammed full of houses with limited open spaces so this needs to be kept.

make the golf course a protected area for residents

whilst the gold course needs some attention and can be a valuable asset to portishead this is not the right way to go about it, the environmental and aesthetic impact on the site seems to be negative in every way.

Cannot believe the threat of the cliff path not in public domain until recently, I have used this path for over 40 yrs.

I have been a Portishead resident for over 35 years and have regularly used the golf course over those years, both as a golfer and walker. Whilst I applaud the enterprise of Portishead Golf for All in re-opening this facility, it is wrong to deny access of the general public to this iconic piece of Portishead history.

It would be a terrible shame for such a lovely open space to be blighted by this.
