I have walked over the golf course using the gate on nore road, WHICH IS NOW LOCKED, I have walked and ran over the golf course for many years nearly 20, WHY has there not been a meeting for the people of portishead with the council, to have the say! This just seems to be about the land fill and money,

This is such a fabulous asset to Portishead. Walkers have enjoyed the area for years and should continue to have access.

An absolute disgrace that Portishead and N Soms councils have let this state of affairs happen under their noses. We must stop the golf course becoming a landfill site.

I have lived here all my life, and i have also seen the huge transfomation of this wonderful town, some good, some bad, this falls in the category of stupidity, get a grip councillors, enough said.

Although I no longer live in Portishaed I still visit & have many happy memories of using the golf course & pub. It would be a terrible shame to lose this facility and in such a stunning spot. We all need green areas for recreation & for our soul. HANDS OFF

I first used the Approach Golf Course in 1972 when we moved to the new houses in Drakes Way
