We the undersigned come to you about an issue at a local movie theater. We say no to alcohol being allowed in the Portage 16 IMAX theater. We the people say that this is not the place for alcohol. Children and teenagers come here quite often to see rated G and PG movies, especially on weekends. We believe this will cause more trouble than it is worth. Drunk men/women starting brawls and the easy access to underage possible drinking is a huge liability. How can one monitor alcohol in the darkness of a movie theater? We the people find no good or plausible reason to allow alcohol on or in the Portage 16 premises. Thank you for your time and allowing us to voice/write our concerns.
