Having a couple of portables stay in the parking for the Health teachers is important for the us as PE teachers. Many times we have to monitor the locker room right before the dismissal bell and also help kids with their lockers. By doing this we would not be able to arrive in our other classroom in time, or field questions from students they may have before class starts or ends. Maintaining a couple of the portables would not hinder or occupy any more parking spots. It would create a deeper space for cars by moving the portables but would not free up more spots.

We have had portables in that parking lot for years. The health portables logically should be located by the gym to be convenient to the PE teachers. Please leave some green lawns free.

The needs of Millcreek's students are best met by leaving the portables in their current location. Please consider our concerns and interests in what our student's needs are regarding their movement through our building in a timely manner.

Teachers frequently (almost hourly) help students between class periods. By the time they are finished helping students from the class that was just dismissed, there are new students that have arrived and need help. The health and p.e. students deserve this opportunity, and the teachers want to be able to provide it, but they can't if they have to migrate from one end of our school property to the other between class periods. Just closing down one room, walking , opening up and readying the other room can take more than the 5 minutes allotted.

Please do not move the Health portables. They work best for all involved in their current location.

Please leave the portables where they are currently located. MJH should have first priority over any issues that deal with other schools or programs using our space.

Bountiful high activities should not start until school is out. Even if we move the portables, it won't solve their parking problem. They could fill our parking lot ten times over when they have a game.

In the few years I have been here, Millcreek has been getting squeezed out of any space that we could actually use because of high school or other sports. I understand this is district property but other than the building, I feel like everything else is used for another purpose than our school. It would be nice to have a little corner where we could actually call “our space”

Please leave the Health portables where they are currently located. It is what is best for the teacher, students, and curriculum that is being taught.
