ROBLOX has been saying since 2012 that they will port ROBLOX to Ubuntu, while in meanwhile we use Wine to "play" ROBLOX. This is not possible, as they use too many DirectX data, which is not supportable anymore. Linux is the third most used OS in the world, and ROBLOX should port it to Linux first rather than XBOX and PS4. Hundreds of people would like to play ROBLOX on their Linux machines, but this isn't possible.

I see the stories from people who have been struggling with complicated workarounds just to play this game on their machines. It is frustrating to have the platform constantly out of reach despite the massive community waiting for a native port.

Seeing this kind of momentum feels unreal. I remember when I first started using Wine just to hope for a playable frame rate, and now I know I am definitely not the only one tired of these workarounds.

working in wine or a vm would be a start. Soon , my children who want to play roblox will be to old and move onto something else. Been waiting years already
Hardware requirements for Linux tend to be far less inflated/bloated than those needed by a base install of modern Windows. The decreased hardware requirements combined with the zero cost of obtaining and installing Linux enables struggling families to do more with less. That should be enough to warrant Linux getting support from everyone/everything - including Roblox.

Roblox is on ChromeOS(A Linux Distro) but not the rest of Linux? This is an outrage! ROBLOX FOR LINUX NOW!
