We sign this petition to lobby for the Port of Cork Maritime Museum, and Inner City Sailing School to be established in the beautiful historical Port of Cork Buildings. Cork has such a rich history of shipping, as a city on the Sea and one of the biggest most active harbours in the world. The Port of Cork buildings are in a perfect location for a maritime museum. This would be an incredible attraction for tourism, and would help the people of Cork become aware and proud of the historical heritage of our wonderful city. Having an Inner City Sailing School at a location near here would be a unique opportunity for a business that would bring so many advantages to Cork and its people.
