I want my kids to have this as an option for a competitive sport. There is not enough space right now.

It is very frustrating trying to find time and space to swim laps in Ft. Collins. And if I want to take my kids to a fun indoor pool, we have to go to Loveland. I would love to see another pool facility here that I could use and support.

I have lived on the SE side of town for 14 years. We have 4 kids and I have always been disappointed by the lack of a rec center for the area. The closest basketball court is Northside which is completely on the otherside of the city. The closest pool is EPIC. The population growth on this side of town is increasing every year with no signs of slowing. It makes no sense for the new rec center to not have an indoor pool. Basketball courts and a pool are the most requested features for the rec center and to leave one of those out is ridiculous. The city is not listening to the desire of the public that will be using the facility. If you are going to invest time and taxpayer money into a rec center then it should reresent what the taxpayers want.

SE Ft Collins lack anythings- like decent bus service - at least we should have a rec center we can easily get to- both for teenagers and seniors without cars.

This city needs more pool space that is for public use, rather than more private pools.

It's really unfair that nearly all of the public recreation facilities are on the North Side of town. It's a 20-30 minute drive from the South part of Fort Collins. We pay taxes too and deserve a facility in our area with a pool for all the kids who live in our neighborhoods.

A water park and pool would make a great family recreation area.

With the local swim teams growing it is only logical that the city take this into account when they create plans for new structures. A new pool would be a huge asset for our growing community.

Southeast Fort Collins is in desperate need of a nearby swimming pool. Our children are avid swimmers on swim team and love the sport! We swim as a family. It was certainly be convenient to have a swimming facility closer to our residence.

Having a pool on the south side would be fantastic. We visit the City park pool a few times every year but due to if being on the opposite side if town we don't go as often as we would if it were a bit closer. Speaking for a few moms in our area we would all love something like this at the south end.

Pool space is lacking in Fort Collins rec centers. We need more space and not including a lap pool & water park into the SE Rec Center is short-cited. SE Fort Collins is a major area of growth for the city and residents should have access to nearby pool facilities. Please reconsider these plans. Thank you.

I have two sons that swim competitively. We currently drive to Loveland as their swim schedule and availability of pools fits our needs.

This is a needed addition to the rec center. Swimming is often the only form of exercise some people can do and it seems wrong to expect them to drive all the way to the other end of town unnecessarily. Additionally, our children who enjoy swimming for competition have only two choices in the fall/winter, neither of which are in any way convenient for the parents who live on the south side of town.
