South East Fort Collins rec center really needs to have the pools. As our community grows the stress for other rec center pools will increase.

Please re-think the decision to remove the leisure pool, water slide, etc from the Southeast Recreation and Arts Center. There is already so few places for families to enjoy themselves, nothing on this part of town. Thank you.

I am still dismayed at the city's decision years ago to do away with our only outdoor pool when it was replaced by what now occupies its place in City Park. We have been and continue to be in need of public pool facilities- both indoor and outdoor.

We go down to Chilson Center for aquatics as their facility is far superior to the public options in Ft. Collins and the private options are cost prohibative.

Without a pool, your rec center won't be used

You need to reconsider the water park and indoor leisure pool. All you need to do is look at Loveland Chilson Center and Greeley Fun Plex and Broomfield Paul Derda center as well as Arvada Apex recreation Center. Fort Collins city council, we are behind in our Recreation centers. We will lose our top spot in Colorado if we do not build a better recreation center. Put the Water feature back in. I travel 35 min right now to take my kids to Greeley when we want to swim. Greeley is getting Fort Collins tax dollars. I hope you are listening City council!

Another lap pool is much needed in Fort Collins at this time, particularly on this side of town.

Northern Colorado is significantly lacking in the availablity of swimming facilities. Especially Long Course Water. Loveland has a dominant presence in the competitive swimmng community due largely to the availability of water in Loveland. However they only have access to short course water. Besides Epic which is small and dated, the next closest Long Course water is VMAC in Thorton but it too is relatively limited in size. Long Course and Short Course championships are typically held in Grand Junction, Denver area, or Colorado Springs primarily because of the availability of Swimming facilities. Having another long course facility in ft. collins would increase the opportunity for more kids to practice, increase the competitiveness of Fort Collins swimmers and would provide for increased economic inflow through more frequent hosting of meets - especially Long / Short State championships.

It would be so nice to not have to drive clear across town to enjoy a pool and other fun activities.

Our family typically drives to Loveland to access pool facilities because of the higher quality. Time for an update Fort Collins!
