Add Water Park and Pool Back into the Southeast Recreation and Arts Center

No other sizeable community across the Front Range has the imbalance we have here in Fort Collins. A very large (and growing!) swimming and diving community, combined with existing aquatics facilities that are aging, under-maintained, and chronically over-scheduled. The fact that we have 4 large high schools w/o a single pool tells us all we need to know. Lets build this pool!

Please take the time to raise the money needed for a competitve swim pool in SE Fort Collins. The ideal location would be right next to Fossil Ridge High School for those early morning swim practices.

The population growth of the southeast neighborhoods of Fort Collins has been tremendous and will continue to be, therefore the addition of an aquatic and recreational facility is this area is, in my opinion, a no brainer.

We want the pool

I was so sorry to hear that plans for a recreation center in the southeast part of Fort Colliins had been put on hold. We desperately need something on this section of Fort Collins. I am definitely interested in swimming and would fully support a pool in this area. Hopefully the plan would include lap lanes in the pool, or a lap pool.

Hopefully the removal, and potential of this piece of the plan is not political, and had nothing to do with the pool being competition for one or both of Miramont and Epic. I know that is how this city makes decisions - who it benefits within the board.

We'd love to not have to drive to Loveland or Greeley to use their indoor water parks.

Would love to have the Indoor Park & Pool

The college has all of the big facilities instead of the public. The kids and the adults would love some fun too

So excited for this think it would be a great asset to the area!!!! So for this!

This would be a tremendous asset to our community. We need the indoor water park and pool. Please build it. Southeast Fort Collins is rapidly growing and our neighbors need this facility.

This would be awesome

Please put the pool back into the plans!!!

We need a pool in s e Fort Collins

A pool for south fort collins is a must especially since there are already multiple different parks within a mile of that site anyway (so another park is nothing special)

This needs to happen NOW!

We drive all the way down to the Chilson Center in Loveland because their facility is so much better and so much cleaner and well kept than any of Fort Collins pools.

Fort Collins City Council- We, the citizens of Fort Collins, ask that you reinstate plans for indoor leisure and lap pools in the Southeast Recreation and Arts Center. Reasons for removing these and other popular features contravene the City Plan's own Community and Neighborhood Livability vision for a high quality built environment with "vital and appealing activity centers and destinations throughout the city." Furthermore, adding these features back conforms with the City Plan's High Performing Community vision by making recreational opportunities more "inclusive and accessible to all people," regardless of where they live.

Please add plans for leisure pool back in to the project

This would do so well in SE FoCo!!!
