I have lived on Pontesford hill for my whole life (29years) and have very fond memories there. I took part in the fund raising to buy the hill when it went up for sale to prevent this kind of thing from happening! This is where myself and many of my friends have grown up. Where our parents took us for walks and picnics when we were children. Where we ran with school cross country and enjoyed our beautiful surroundings. We are incredibly lucky to have this on our doorstep and we should keep it the way it is! It is unfair to take this away from our community but to preserve it for our future generations to enjoy.

myself and my family have lived in around this area for over 100 years its been an enjoyment to play up there beautiful walks views are amazing so do us all a favour (fix's the dame rd and path ways) but leave our hill alone leave this beautiful land mark as it is I may live in bedford now but I still visit family and to see pontesford hill come in to sight then I know im home my child love going here but to at age to voice their anger over this matter (Shrewsbury council fix things that need fixing and the hill the hell alone) and if you dont like what I say in box me I will gladly give you my phone number to discuss this further with you lisa palmer nee Beddoes

My family and I have walked and ridden over the Hill since we came to Shropshire forty years ago. It is a beautiful area of natural beauty and contains many species of wildlife and wild flowers. Why should the new owner ruin this for future generations. This is why the community tried to buy this area;to keep it safe from any development. The present owner isn't interested in the area of natural beauty- he only wants to make money out of it! We have got to fight this !!!

This appears to be pretty ludicrous, contrived and expensive. Far better to encourage the enjoyment of the place as it naturally is.
