This is an issue that the residents overwhelming will support. Life safety is our town's number one priority. We the people govern, vote and determine what is an expectable level of service. I continue to hear how great the economy is. Then support the economy and provide our residents with a highly efficient and proficient first responder community.

We love our fire fighters. I’ve had to use them several times In a non-emergency for my mother-in-law over the years . They arrive in a timely manner, always professional with a sense of humor to lighten the moment in making sure we’re safe and well taken care of. It Brings me joy to know they’re just around the corner if needed for our family and the Community. Our firefighters are unique and need to stay.

There shouldn’t even be a debate on this, our community depends on these brave men and women, truly our lives depend on them. Funding them fairly means adequate compensation commiserate with the daily risk they face.

Fire fighters are needed everywhere. You will be sorry the first time something bad happens and they weren’t there to call on. Leave things as they are and quit being greedy.

Keep our own Firefighters/EMS right here in Ponce Inlet. I have no interest in entertaining a move to the county. Over 25 years of on the street experience here, having responded to literally thousands of EMS calls in my career.
