The platform officially scrapped the permanent username policy after all this pressure. It was a long fight to keep our creative freedom intact but we finally got the outcome we demanded. Keep using your symbols and letters just like you always have.

The climb toward five hundred is grueling but we have to maintain this momentum if we want them to listen. I am tired of fighting for the basics of our identity here, yet I know we cannot stop until we are impossible to ignore.

I really really want to change my user name. Its a stupid one I made years ago and I think it's the reason for people to ignore my account even though I put a lot of effort into my sets. Please let us change it, it won't do any harm

Yes please let us change it! I'm beginning to use mine for business and a portfolio and it's not as professional or consistent with my other names as it should be.
I want to change mine to x
I've changed. And as my personality has changed I feel this should happen to my username too. It sort of feels wrong when I create something new and the username is still the same old name; it displays the old me and in my very own case, something I want to forget. Please understand.
I've recently learned that we cannot change our usernames after changing once already. I believe that we should be able to change it as many times as we want. Usernames are meant to be personalized and creative, not limited and denied.
when I first started polyvore I didn't know that you could only change it once, so I just made up a stupid username which is: ayylmayonaise. stupid. I know.
yaaasss please do this!
I absolutely hate that polyvore gives a username change limit. Love the website, but this sucks. We all change our interests, and along with that a username changes, and we should be able to do that! When I look at my profile and my username, it looks so confusing because I CAN'T CHANGE MY USERNAME!! CHANGE THIS POLYVORE!!
I didn't know when I first started and now I'm suck with a name that I don't like
I also hate that we cant change our usernames more than once. we change interests and likes why cant we change our username.

We should be able to change our usernames whenever we please
I really don't like my username and I would hate to deactivate and start again just to make a new username when I've made great progress with my account.. polyvore PLEASE this is not fair.
I agree! I think that if you want to change your Polyvore name, you should be allowed to. It's not fair for people to have to stick with the username that they first started with.
I need to change my username!
please
I have two accounts on polyvore and didn't know that there names are permanently close aka @queens-bbaby & @queens-babyy
i really need to change my name because it has a typo in it !! It's really annoying we should be allowed to change it as many times as we want.
We should definitely be able to change our names. One username to be stuck with? Doesn't seem fair...
Yes plz!!!!!
This needs to happen because right now I'm stuck with a username I hate because I accidentally saved it.
I am so mad that I can't change my user name again!
I havent even changed my named and i dont even have the pption to do it. We as people change our minds alot this should be a choice for everyone and unlimited
somebody hacked me and changed the user name i couldnt be more pissed jeez
Please please please change this!!! I accidentally changed it to the wrong thing and I can't change it!!!
The username policy annoys me so much!!

I have had the same username since I was 11 which means that it is obviously a bit childish. Im now 15 so I think it gives people the wrong impression!
