We think that this is an important step in the world recognizing the legitimacy of love between several people. This move can create a society of peace where everyone respects and is informed about ideas that may seem unusual in our culture at this time.
This move toward allowing several relationships space on our page will allow the sort of self-expression that surrounds the culture of Facebook. Facebook has long been a community of ideas, where people are able to endorse their opinions and peacefully debate ideas. It has also been a place where people learn about new ideas and innovations. While polyamory is not a "new" idea, it is a growing one and we feel that it deserves the same legitimacy as all the other kinds of love on Facebook.

Seeing the growth of this movement has been exhausting but it keeps me grounded in why I started this in the first place. This progress proves that many people are tired of being left out of the standard relationship options. We keep going because the need for this change is not going away.

I wish I could do more to show the two people who make me feel safe and loved off with pride
Polyamory is a type of relationship so it needs to be a option on Facebook! I'm damn proud to be poly & I want to show how proud I am!
This is only right to have this option for those who are in multiple relationships simultaneously. There are a lot of us. Granted not all of us can be out in the open about that, but making this possible for those who are out of the closet about being polyamorous will help create a climate where people like us won't have to hide anymore.
As Facebook's actions are at the leading edge of social change, remembering the boom of acceptance Facebook allowed trans* gender statuses and the ability to choose pronouns, the social acceptance that would come from Facebook's inclusion of poly relationships would relieve stigma and validate relationships among our communities. I beg of you, please vote for this as well.
I too respect the rights of a private organization. I would be elated if this service of social interaction and freedom would enable a full expression of every individual's life and love, without limitation.

Thank you. This would help educated people about the lifestyle. I would love to be able to add my other partner on Facebook.
