After the latest fork in the NEM blockchain at Block 1250000 fees were drastically reduced , and are currently capped at 1.25XEM, whereas the cost for smaller transactions is much lower (0.05XEM PER 10000XEM transferred). Poloniex however, continues to charge customers 15XEM for withdrawals, which at the time of writing costs about 22 dollars! This is absurd and takes away incentive especially from customers with smaller holdings to transfer their holdings to a safer place (e.g. Nano Wallet). Also, those 15XEM are currently valued at 22 dollars, but the expectation is that they will be worth much more, which makes people reluctant to want to spend 15 of them on one transaction. Sign this petition if you want Poloniex to adopt the new system and charge lower fees. This will be sent to representatives of the exchange to show frustration from the customers and call for change.
