We are on lock down for the sake of our health, but businesses like this are allowed to pollute the air, making it impossible to breathe. Shut it down.

I walk around the korsman bird sanctuary and this morning you could actually feel how smoky the air felt difficult to breathe

In the broader Lakefield area north of Main Reef road, we are struggling with: - air pollution: acrid smells from discharge or burning of industrial waste, and - noise pollution: noise caused by what appears to be gas release under pressure at all times of the day including at night and weekends. Other areas include: - unregulated burning of industrial waste in the industrial belt between Actonville and Western Extension and Lakefield coming from along Luton Road, and - waste sorting and processing g along Moore Avenue. These are probably unregistered business operating in residential areas. Waste is sorted in the veld and is burnt. I therefore petition the recipient of this notice to investigate and to report back to this group of petitioners. Im asthmatic and last night at about 23h30 I woke up with shortness of breath. At first I thought my house was on fire when the smell hit me. I ran to the kitchen to investigate and I immediately noticed a blanked of smoke outside. I have had to use my nebulizer twice since last night as I can breath easily.

Toxic smell and clouds of smoke through the house at night, my asthma becoming worse through the night from this cloud hanging in the air. The smell is like plastic burning indoors, cannot breathe it in.

The absolute putrid and thick stench hanging in the air since last night And still this morning is nauseating, whoever is responsible for this needs to be investigated and brought to book. It's unacceptable!!!

The pollution from both Corruseal and Reclam is making it impossible to breathe, is hazardous to the environment amd wildlife. Homeowners have spent their lifesavings on their homes. This is unacceptable!

Fumes from operations are in question. Do they know what the implications are on people's health. Unlikely.

Horrible noise at night. Terrible air quality. Bad smell. Fumes and dirt all over my home and pool every day.
