I have developed pulmonary fibrosis since living in this area and now on 24hr home oxygen ,unfortunately cannot afford to relocate.I am now a patient at Charlotte Maxeke because I could not afford private treatment .I would really appreciate it if something can be done about the pollution levels.Thank you
It was terrible last night 11 May from after 10 until well after midnight. The whole of Cranbourne Avenue was thick with smoke the smell was terrible, we had to cover vents, windows and doors. Battled to breathe.
Im asthmatic and last night at about 23h30 I woke up with shortness of breath. At first I thought my house was on fire when the smell hit me. I ran to the kitchen to investigate and I immediately noticed a blanked of smoke outside. I have had to use my nebulizer twice since last night as I can breath easily.
Toxic smell and clouds of smoke through the house at night, my asthma becoming worse through the night from this cloud hanging in the air. The smell is like plastic burning indoors, cannot breathe it in.
The pollution from both Corruseal and Reclam is making it impossible to breathe, is hazardous to the environment amd wildlife. Homeowners have spent their lifesavings on their homes. This is unacceptable!

Me and my little girl suffer from severe allergies because of air pollution it’s like we can’t escape it
