I move that any officer of the law who has injured, harmed, or killed any person, in the name of law or otherwise, must be proven innocent in court. If there is substantial evidence that the officer was within the law in his actions, he will be once again fit for duty, however the officer in question will be suspended of his lethal weapons for a time extending no longer than six (6) months, and no shorter than one (1) month. Any officer of the law who has commited a crime should be sentenced to two times the amount of time a civilian would be sentenced to serve due to the fact that they failed their duties and knowingly succumbed to corruption within the authority of the law.
