It's a massive safety issue not having a front office. How many vulnerable and/ or elderly have a safe place to report a crime they have experienced, without further endangering themselves?

We need a physical point of contact

Our police presence in St Albans was formerly represented by an easily-found building in the centre of town, which was reassuring to many. This is a town / district of 150,000 people and deserves a more tangible representation of our police force.

Totally shocked to find a door with the instruction, Do Not Knock. An appalling situation.

we need a real Police Station, not a hot desk in the council offfice and a phone for "out of hours"

It is astonishing that in a city the size of St Albans there is no way to contact the police face to face

Its rediculous for a city the size of St Albans not to have a police station to see police face to face regarding an issue.

It's the least we should accept.

Elderly people cannot always talk over the phone or use the internet. They should not be expected to travel an hour on a bus to report a crime.

A police front desk in St. Albans is essential and cuts to police numbers since 2010 must be reversed with no ifs buts or excuses.

A proper Police Station would be ideal but this would certainly better than what we have now.

A town this size with it's own issues with crime needs a manned police station.

The lack of a full time police desk in a city with a population the size of St Albans is in itself criminal Look at the local crime figures just to see why.

We are a city and no police station
