Its unbelievable that this cowardly act took place when he was so near he read the mans eyes and body movements, so he drove away, watching a man being murdered, lets not forget there were two others involved in that car, it should be investigated by the IPCA.
Shameful
He should have been in uniform. Always ready. He should have demonstrated initiative, imagination and leadership, albeit unarmed - as are Constables in the main.
A disgrace to the uniform and service.
Lack of moral fibre
I cannot believe that this man did not go to the aid of his fallen colleague. I cannot describe my contempt for Craig Mackey. He did not act in the highest traditions of the police.

I cannot believe he saw what was happening and did not stop to help. As a nurse in a secure unit we would ALWAYS have each other’s backs and NEVER see a colleague in trouble stand alone, we’d be shoulder to shoulder and would NEVER walk away. This man does not deserve to be called an officer let alone keep his knighthood
