District 25 has limited the days that students are allowed to have in school instruction, in direct violation of district policy 8101, 8101-P, and Idaho Code 33-202.District 25 has also provided rules to accommodate those who believe that masks and social distancing are necessary for a return to school.Through the denial of student rights to attend, district 25 is willfully endangering the current and future academic success of our students. Through the forced mandate of masks the mental health of the student has been harmed and unnecessary stress added to what should be a safe environment.
Furthermore the blatant disregard of statistical evidence proving the low risk physical harm to students through the contraction of Covid 19 to the k-20 age group points to selective bias in the formation, and implementation of current policy. The mental health of the learner has been placed behind the fears of adults, and the rights of parents as the ultimate caretaker of the child disregarded.
Due to fear of retaliation many individual voices are silenced. However we can no longer hide behind the trenches dug by silence and turning a blind eye.As Parents of district 25 we demand the following.
1. Parents of learners will decide whether their student follows one of three courses of action:
a.Follow district rules for online learning
b.Follow district rules for hybrid schedule
c.Attend daily full time schedule
2.Parents of learners be allowed to decide if their student wear a mask or not.
It is expected that District 25 will provide a response to these demands in a timely manner.

I have been hearing from so many of you who are watching your children struggle with these inconsistent policies. The disregard for our school district policies is frustrating and it keeps me up at night wondering when they will finally prioritize our students again.

Seeing this grow so quickly reminds me that I am not alone in my frustration with how our district treats our families. It is clear that so many of you share the same exhaustion over these inconsistent rules and the lack of transparency. We deserve to have our children back in the classroom without these arbitrary barriers.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Get these kids in school full time. Stop ignoring us.
These children are being left behind for no reason get them back in school like the other districts!
This hybrid system is not enough for my high school aged kids. Give parents the option of putting kids back in the classroom 5 days a week. If the protocols in place are good enough for 2 days a week then they will be fine for 5 days a week. The very small risk is worth the reward.
Full-time, teacher student face to face school should be happening the entire school year. Teachers and students should be able to choose to wear a mask or not. Mental and emotional health is far more at risk than the risk of contracting Covid.
We need to be heard. No way is it ok to make these kids go through this. My child is going to get sick because of these masks. She is 5
Just do your jobs.
These kids need to be in school. There are too many reasons to list here.

The lack of consistency between schools is driving us crazy. My neighbor's kid is in class every day while mine is stuck at home. Open all the schools now.
