This petition will be presented to the City Council in an effort to gain approval to move ahead in the process of using already owned public lands for a community garden in Port Orange. No site is being suggested at this point. This garden will serve to beautify, educate and nourish the Port Orange community. It is a demonstration of ordinary citizens working together to build something beautiful and useful. Port Orange will benefit from this productive use of public land.
