PMNA is asking for your support to close Thomas Ave. from Belvedere to Hamorton Saturday May 21st, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for our first ever Bike Fest.
The city requires signatures from 75% of Thomas Ave residents to make this happen.
THIS PETITION IS FOR THOMAS AVE RESIDENTS ONLY, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR STREET ADDRESS AFTER YOUR NAME (i.e. 123 Thomas)--Deadline April 4th
Bring the tricycles, big wheels, wagons, bikes, strollers, skateboards, roller skates, scooters, dogs, kids, babies, trail a longs, bike trailers, balance bikes, etc (dare we say anything with wheels....but LEAVE YOUR CARS AT HOME).
Come out and join your neighbors for all the festivities including:
-crafts for the kids
-bike mini tune ups
-guided rides to the Little Sugar Creek greenway by Metropolitan/Target/CMC
-lots of other fun activities
Enjoy the festival and have lunch in the business district at DQ, Kickstand, Zada Janes, Dish, Bistro Le Bon, Common Market, Soul, Diamond, Penguin....plus Harvest Moon Grille will be bringing the orange truck!

YES. Closing the street to cars is a great idea. We need more events like this on Thomas to get to know our neighbors.
