Our children have worked so hard to perform. The glow on their faces when they said they were doing a concert for us was so amazing to see. They have been practicing so hard and when my kids came home to tell us concert will be a video again their hearts were crushed. No survey went out asking what the parents thoughts were, no questions were asked, it was just canceled. That’s not fair for them. Let our children be children and for those living in fear then they don’t have to participate. I feel there has got to be more of us that want this than those that don’t.

Hold the concert! If a family is uncomfortable with it, they can choose not to attend/participate. Don’t punish these kids

just like others have said, if other games and activities can still go on, there is no reason why these kids can't have a Christmas concert...to the ones who don't feel comfortable attending, maybe they could have the option of live streaming.

There are other options that could be done to have a concert safely. Canceling the concert when we can sit and watch basketball games in a small gym with no one wearing masks, it’s ridiculous!!!

Limit the amount of people that come watch, maske the kids until they are on stage, mask visitors and space kids out on stage!! If they cancel this they should cancel all contact sports as well!! Let the kids show off their hard work!!!

This means so much to our children, don’t take this away from them. I respect the thought process, but if parents are concerned about Covid, they can attend virtually. Don’t take it away from everyone. Give everyone options.
