Moderation concern: Juice

Seeing the way juice behaves makes it very uncomfortable to be in a room with her, a mod is supposed to be approachable, not scary.

Hello, I would like to explain one of my experiences with the moderator Juice that happened maybe a month or two ago. Juice and some fellow artists had just finished the backgrounds to a group theme rp. It was the type that took up the entire canvas, several panels, maybe 6-7. There was a lot of effort put into them; color, detail, angles, etc. However, the log glitched, resulting in their work to be cleared and redone. I believe most of the bgs were being done by Juice and another artist. However, she seemed to be struggling with some of the panels and asked for help. I sympathized with the artist having to do these backgrounds all over again. One background, however in particular confused me. I looked at it and couldn't tell the angle. Are we looking down at the image, or frontal view? The more I looked at it, the more confused I was. Was that blue area sky or was it water reflecting clouds? Was the green patch in the top right-hand corner ground, or was that a tree? I was truly at a loss with this abstract background. If I didn't know what was going on with the background, others might not know as well. Because of that notion, I decided to politely speak up and get some clarity on what the image was. Immediately I got backlashed by Juice. I asked if I could help work on the background to make it a little clearer, but Juice remained to only talk to her group. Long story short, I tried to make the image clearer, but she erased my work, leading to this: http://i.imgur.com/NnQkXYi.png That is Juice's writing and face on the right, which was drawn right before I was kicked out of the room. In my 4+ years in pchat and being a heavy user, I have never been kicked out of a room until now. I've befriended several mods as well, never having a problem with any users. All I had asked if it the green patch on the top right was a tree, resulted in my kicking. After this mess, I have avoided Juice and any themed rps. I do not want to be around a mod w

My User name on MangaMasters is DnG. In my experience I've found Juice to be over-bearing and unable to consider another person’s opinion. It’s either her way or the high-way. I’ve also seen her harassment upon anyone who doesn't want to be around her. She will hound them about trying to fix their personal problems even if they don’t want her to. I have personally been put through her physiological abuse which has affected me greatly in all aspects of my life. As a mod she comes off as unapproachable and made rash decisions. For these reasons I believe she is un-fit to moderate MangaMasters.

The fact she wouldn’t admit that she was bullying is also pretty huge to me; intellectual humility could be important here.. She always seemed to me as if she knows better and what Brody said about her not seeing both sides is true too. I’ve been watching someone who’s been around her and wanted to help them; but I had no idea how. In the end they got sort of casted out which is I’m not entirely sure of yet, but I’ll talk to him more to find out. She also seems to have this way of having people gang up with her against whoever she doesn’t like, or whoever doesn’t listen to her and whatnot. But honestly what really irritates me is her not admitting she’d done all this just to solve everything; instead have us here give out what we know; not saying that it wouldn’t be helpful; in fact it would be better if she just stopped hiding like this and face you guys as an adult.

I have a problem with the way Juice mods things, not wishing to go over too much covered ground, but when D and Nekoni’s highschool rp was going on, they made an effort to as often as they could, draw backgrounds for people to rp in, but they couldn’t do it all day everyday, and they did tell people it was perfectly fine to join in with their own backgrounds as long as they stuck to the rules. When some newer members were complaining about backgrounds not being drawn Juice essentially got them hyped up about it and basically said she was going to take over the rp due to the backgrounds not being drawn, and wouldn’t let the issue drop, eventually causing it to be shut down, and when she started her own, it wasn’t long before she was complaining over the exact issue which had been pointed out originally that it’s not possible to be there every minute of every day to draw backgrounds for other people. She’s got own her little clique of friends whom she is not neutral about, it’s fine to have friends you prefer hanging out with, but if one of her friends insults someone else or causes an upset, she won’t hear out both sides neutrally at all. When Juice has a problem with someone, she’s extremely vocal and public about it and I have been present in pchat when people have asked her to take it off the board and discuss the issue privately rather than in front of a bunch of people who have nothing to do with it, and she lauds her mod status over people in a ‘if you don’t do things the way I like it, then I’m a mod and can kick you’ kind of way. I’m older than Juice, but the way she behaves towards everyone, she acts as if she is the oldest and wisest person to ever have existed and therefore everything she says is right, and she cannot even contemplate the possibility that she is wrong. I believe she is unfit to be a mod due to the fact that whenever a spammer is present she does not ban then in any kind of way or even warns them.

You're not a mod that can put your foot down. As a moderator you should know when that is a appropriate. Further more befriending a spammer as a mod makes you look VERY bad we mods are here to STOP spammers NOT befriend them. Another this , you did not tak to the rest of the mods on whom you thought were good mods you simply only told flash who you thought were good and POOF they were mods. IT IS A TEAM effort, talk to us first so we can all decide together. And your reasoning of them being on all the time and only that is not a good reason.

I've dealt with Juice's antics and pyschological abuse based on personal issues, and its still affecting me on a personal and social level.

I've witnessed Juice's long term harassment of my friend, and regulaly run into conflicts with her, as well as repeatedly witnessed her misusing her mod abilities to her own ends. Her general behaviour and attitudes make her unbearable for some of us to be around; not a good repersentation of mangamasters.

There have been several users and mods with concerns due to how Juice personally treats them as well as how she handles her position as a moderator.
