I grew up in bergen county and disc golfing is one of my favorite hobbies. I truly wish there were more courses in northern nj.

The Freeholders and the County Administrator should be congratulated for their efforts to better utilize this park! The County's plans for Rifle Camp will draw more people to this beautiful and underused park to participate in the new activities and this is a good thing. Public parks are for everyone!

I'm a local resident and I live down the road from Rifle Camp Park. I use the trails there on a regular basis. I would love to have a disc golf course at rifle camp, it would be a great addition to the park. Disc Golf is a fun and safe activity that gets people outside and enjoying nature for long periods of time.

There will always be NIMBY's opposing every change that occurs.
Disc Golfers do more park maintenance than any other group that uses the parks. They also do more charity work than any other park group. I'm sorry the walkers and birders are so uneducated that they condemn the game without ever playing. Watch how quickly those same groups gravitate to the fairways once they are built. One of the most common comments we hear from other park users is "thanks for building all of these great walking trails." We, unlike the other groups understand the need to share our space with others. Hope to see this plan go thru to fruition.

Disc golf is great for the community and not at all harmful toward the environment. What's a measly 10% of the park space??

Is this a public park or a protected bird sanctuary? According to the signage, it's a public park, and until it's re-designated as what it's being purported to be, I petition that the public be granted access to moving forward with installation of a disc golf park, which will increase usage of the park, which is the current design.
