Three generations of my family play disc golf. The DG community cares a lot about nature and will often pick up after themselves and others. It is great for the park!

Disc sports are a great activity for all age ranges. They increase the enjoyment of a park, and if implemented properly, have little to no adverse effects on the safety of park patrons and ecology of the park

Disc golf is a lifelong sport which can be enjoyed by anyone in just about any physical condition. Despite rumors that it is an unsafe activity, when designed properly and installed in an appropriate location/park, it is safe, non obtrusive, and utilizes land not suitable for any other activities.

A properly designed disc golf course provides safe, fun, passive recreational activity for people of all ages, abilities, and agilities. Charity tournaments at other local Disc Golf courses have raised tens of thousands of dollars for numerous local charities. A Disc Golf course at Rifle Camp would be a win-win for so many people on so many levels.

I've been a disc golfer for two years now. Nothing but positive experiences. There's space to share and we will certainly make the park a better place for everyone.

We put one in 2 years ago in Morris Plains and it has been received with nothing but positive feedback and many new players attracted to a great form of recreation.
