Nick was able to teach me and encourage me to improve with his curriculum, demonstrations, willings to critique via email and his enthsiastic passion for art. Believe he would be a huge asset to WCC.

I am very familiar with Nick Reszetar's Art and the impact he created on the art community.
I have attended a couple of the art exhibits by Nick's students and was very impressed with the quality of the art pieces as well as by the respect and admiration of the students to their teacher that was clearly present in the gallery.
I believe faculty of the level of talent of Nick Reszetar's caliber would create a string and positive impact on any art program at a respected educational establishment.

Nick Reszetar's passion for teaching art is inspiring and contagious. I came to art through multiple life changing events and he was instrumental in putting me on the right path. His coursework offers challenging projects that can push one to the next level and find unexpected results. I took three classes with Nick and consider myself his apprentice. I would like to learn more from academics, like Mr. Reszetar. His enthusiasm for the fine art program at WCC will undoubtedly bring more students, increase the level of educational quality, and benefit Ann Arbor community at large.

I consider myself very fortunate having had the chance to study with Nick Reszettar. He is very passionate about his subject and generously shares his vast knowledge. I am not sure how he does it, but he somehow motivates his students to work really hard and get results, at the same time making it fun. It would be very exciting to have Nick back at WCC and at the local artist community.

I missed the opportunity to study under Nick but the only thing I ever hear from my classmates who took one of his classes was that I really had to. I saw them being encouraged to pursue, refine and strengthen their skills under him. I would, almost daily, hear about how he was working closely with his students to help them improve. There was a great passion and excitement when they would speak about their classes with Nick. From what I saw and heard he's a teacher that could magnify his students interest and work towards not only being better but emblazon their desire to do better.

The many classes I've taken with Nick at WCC have helped me become a hard working and dedicated art student. Because of his teachings and encouragement i am now pursuing my BFA in drawing at Kendall College of Art and Design.

Professor Reszetar's contributions to the WCC art department and the Ann Arbor art community is invaluable. Unfortunatly, he had to relocate to find full time work. The WCC art student body would like to see Professor Reseztar return and assume a full time position at our school. I still hear the sad and concerned words of many students(even ones who have not met him), words like; so now what are we going to take? we were so looking forward to studying with Nick, he has a magnificent reputation, master painter, drawer, and instructor. What everyone doesn't know is that Nick is a Master Instructor. Nick not only has an immense knowledge art base, experience in multiple disciplines, but he motivates and inspires the beginning, intermediate, and mature student. Even with classrooms of 24, ( hardly anyone skips in his class) he manages to reach everyone in the room, one on one, before the end of class.) There's a proper lecture, demonstration, art history, etc in every class. He holds students love and respect highly. His students give back. We look forward to coming to class! They follow him from semester to semester as if they are in a fan club. I know this because I am one of his fans. We are many. Please help us bring him back by signing this petition. Please help us enjoy the arts.
While I understand that he left of his own accord, I can't help feeling we as a school body could have persuaded him to stay if he could have been hired full time. Now, we have lost another cornerstone to our art department. Ms.Belinda McGuire is the epitome of knowledge when it comes to the 3D Design Department. Her reputation in teaching that class as well as the "color" class is well known. Many of us feel that WCC no longer holds the Art Department as highly as it once did. So, many of us are saddened, disappointed, and concerned with the future of the department.
It is because of this that I ask you and your friends support the future of Art at Washtenaw Community Colle

Professor Nick Reszetar is a professional artist who has a lot to offer to any program he joins. he helped me quite a bit to improve my skills and advance my career as an artist. I recommend him whole heartedly !
