We are writing this email to let you know that at this time, CMS does not currently have enough art teachers to provide art instruction for 6th graders, only 7th and 8th. Knowing how much kids enjoy art and need to have art as part of their middle school curriculum, it is important to find a way to integrate art back into 6th grade. Our children need to continue with the art foundation that they have developed over the last six years of their elementary school education.

In order to implement this, we were informed that we should let the SAU16 Joint Cooperative School Board know of our interest. We need your support!
