There have been several cases of match fixing that have affected how people view sports. Some action has been taken by sports officials, but their efforts were not enough! They have let match fixing corrupt sports, ruin all the fair play, and all the unexpected amazing plays by the players. It will continue to corrupt sports, and will ruin the economy of sports in the future. Many sports are being affected by match fixing, and football is one of the biggest ones being targeted by the fixers. The sport being affected is at stake, and it will not last. Action must be taken before sports become fully corrupt with match fixing, and with more problems that may occur in the future. Changes must be made in order to prevent any more corruption happening.

Reaching this level of support confirms that I am not the only one exhausted by the corruption rotting our games from the inside. It has been a long road but seeing so many people refuse to accept this reality keeps me moving forward.

Unfair official involvement ruins the entertainment value of watching the sport. Even more so, it is demoralizing to the players.
Match fixing have been detected in more than 1100 sports since april, 2020, the manipulation rate across all sports is one in 545 or 0.18%.Match fixing generally involves, contact between gamblers, players, team officials and referees. This can damage fan trust and interest and have legal and financial consequences involved. If you fix a match , you might be banned from a sport for a year or might even go to jail. This is a crime and should be stopped immediately, this not only effects the fun of the game but , the amazing players and the fan’s interest.

I believe that match fixing is an extremely dishonest practice that needs to be brought to cessation. Not only does it cheat the audience out of a genuine sports game, but it also damages the integrity and morale of the players. Is it truly a victory if it is won through disingenuous actions?
