I am starting this petition in honor of all of the brave people who serve our country and come back with PTSD. The 4th of July is about Our Countries Freedom. I don't think that a person coming home from the military would want to be reminded of war again by hearing explosions and bombs going off on and before the 4th of July. This is not Freedom, they may feel like they are prisoners in their own homes. These aren't sparklers anymore, or just bottle rockets with a report. These are bombs that are illegal and should not be allowed. We are worried about firearms being in the hands of the wrong individuals. Why aren't we addressing the issue of explosive devices being in the wrong hands? I am also tired of watching the poor, helpless animals scramble every year, and not being able to leave my home because I am worried not only about them but about leaving my home while Illegal fireworks are being launched into the air and landing on my roof and in my yard. Not only is this a fire hazard, it is an environmental problem caused from the odor and all of the debris that is left on the streets, and on the properties of others. Please join me in the efforts to prohibit illegal fireworks in our beautiful state. Thank You! Christi
