We the undersigned represent the nut and peanut allergy community. We are deeply appreciative that their entire product line has been and are presently produced in a "nut free facility" (per a call with customer service on June 17, 2021). However we are distressed to learn of plans for Mountain House, a division of Oregon Freeze Dry, to add a peanut butter product which will be made on shared equipment in the coming months. Despite the best cleaning practices, you will lose the business of thousands of customers. We are requesting formal and public declaration of a change in plans to say no to these plans and asking you to PLEASE stay nut free. We thank you in advance as this decision impacts literally millions of buyers who suffer with peanuts as one of top 8 life threatening allergens.
