Back to the basics - it worked for years and parents were actually able to help their children with homework! ! And what we learned - we remembered! !

I'm disappointed that NH even considered such a horrible program! My kids HATE IT too!!! its absolute nonsense.

Leave Education up to the Schools!

I haven't seen all of common core's "curriculum" but I've seen enough to know it's ridiculous. Education was broken before, but now it's broken and senseless.

This is forced garbage and it needs to stop. It turns teachers from engaged mentors of today's youth into robotic task giver-outers under gripping fear of union and system scrutiny. Give our teachers a voice in this, what would a secret ballot tell us?......

Please use common sense and ban this legislative and monopolistic travesty.

This way of teaching does not teach our children how to be successful adults. My son will not be allowed 5 to 10 minutes as an adult to break a simple math number down into charts and graphs. He will need to understand how to do simple handed math. This is what is ruining our children, their self esteem, and their childhood. They are spending hours a night starting in the first grade doing homework that is too complicated for them.

I do not like this for my kids. it was very hard when they introduced it to my son last yeas and now my daughter is going through it and feels beat down and she is only in 1st grade.

Get rid of government in our schools and put God back in them!

Stop brainwashing our children with liberal thinking. Stick to the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic and teach them HISTORY.

Common Core is not education. It is an attempt to brainwash children into common think and to collect data on my children. Get rid of common core.

We need to return to local control and abandon all of these one size fits all, top down, national experiments in education.

If this is still in the system when my current 3 year goes to school, we will not be sending him. We will homeschool.

This crap is just that,, CRAP!! I will not support thus in my home and I will teach my child the way I was taught!!

As a professional who does "math" for a living, I can not do my daughters 4th grade home work. I can not understand the questions. This is insanity.

Common core must go.

Common core is conformity and homogenization of people to make them easy to control period.....

I have two children in grade school in NH, I have seen this material first hand and it is NO GOOD for our children. Remove it, take it out of our schools and allow OUR children to grow not be held down with this trash. Thank you
