The issue isn't education or methods or what is taught. The issue is freedom... the right to free choice... the use of police power to coerce compliance.

There may be some with good intentions behind CC, but it is misguided and the learning material not tailored to the learning styles and levels appropriately. It is resulting in even the best and brightest ending up confused and frustrated. This is dragging kids down, and they will pay the price for "meeting goals". If anyone thinks this won't affect the already educated population...think again. This is the generation that will making decisions and caring for us in our old age (if we are so blessed). And from an assessment perspective, the approach, content and administration is all wrong. Rights are being violated left and right. It doesn't take rocket science to see this.
