I grew up watching Laurel and Hardy on tv and still love watching them now and I'm 55.

A Laurel & Hardy short film is the ideal tonic for us in these troubled times, and the joy they bring can only be a good thing.

I always loved Laurel and Hardy, and have afew of their films on dvd. They would brighten up anyone's day with their funny and hilarious antics, and believe that the younger generation would appreciate them too. In an often troubled world in which we live in, a wee bit of madness and mayhem by two gifted actors as L & H were, reminds us of an age where, saying very little but through the actions, is enough to bring a smile to anyone's face. Brilliant !

Timeless comedy that is not offensive! I still laugh out loud now just as much as I did when I was a kid and now my ten yr old has got the L&H bug :)

Absolutely necessary for children (as well as adults) to learn the art of keeping in sanity through humour as of fun, especially when feeling stressed/depressed.

The finest proponents of comedy and innovators of film in Stan Laurel should not need a petition to get their work shown on the BBC. But , sadly it appears they do. Please introduce these greats to new generations as they were to me via showing their work on the BBC .
