I first saw Laurel & Hardy on TV in the early 1950's. Loved them from that moment on. They will always be my favorite comedians.

Comedy is "comedy" in today's world. Laurel and Hardy are COMEDY! Bring back these classics. Give this generation a break!

The BBC introduced me to Laurel and Hardy 35+ years ago. Don't deprive future generations of REAL comedy!

L and H show was a good clean and most importantly funny show that the whole family could enjoy. I especially have very fond memories of watching the show some 20 years ago. it would be great to see them back on the TV for current and future generations to enjoy.

As so many tv channels happily put all sorts of low quality films and repeats on their schedules - as 'fillers' perhaps - I doubt that this petition is really necessary. Perhpas it's just a way to collect names & emails to sell.

They are without doubt the funniest comedy double act ever. I don't know of any other pair to win an Oscar, do you? I will always remember watching their comedy shorts on BBC2 (their finest work), when I was growing up and they need to show them again as they prove that you don't have to be dirty or foul-mouthed to get a laugh. They were just superb, and had a fine supporting cast, James Finlayson, Mae Busch to name two!! Bring back the boys!!!!
