The TCM has broadcasted the two a few times, I once woke up to the abrupt sound of slapping, to find Ollie and Stan going at it in The Devil's Brother-- and stayed up until 6 to watch the rest of it!

Have watched them time and time again. They never fail to make me laugh. If friends and I get together and they crop up in the conversation, we are in fits of laughter remembering our favourite ones. Timeless. Everyone should see them. They'll soon find out where the inspiration for alot of their contemporaries came from.

My 11 year old daughter cries with laughter when watching some of these films, especially Liberty (crab on a building site). Just goes to prove even if it is 80 years old, if a film is funny, it is funny forever. Get them back on the BBC today!

I would love for the BBC to show Laurel & Hardy on TV again. I have been a huge fan of Stan and Ollie since I was 12 years old (I am 35 years old now) and love watching their films especially their talkies from the 1930's.
