Loved watching Laurel and Hardy as a child on BBC2. Timeless comedy that would be as popular today as they were in my childhood and back to when they were first made.

Laurel and Hardy were the first global superstars of comedy, an act which set the standard for others to follow and who inspired many more legends of comedy. Their humour is universally liked by young and old, yet no one sees them anymore. This can change if they are available on mainstream television and they can inspire another generation of comedians.
