I grew up watching their many films, when they were shown. Their comedic gifts were second to none.
I can't even remember the last time I ran across one of their films on tv. Decades it seems.
Their work needs to be seen and loved, by every generation.

I was lucky enough to watch the films during my school holidays in the 80's/90's. Hope others can do the same

They were brilliant. Way better than most modern comedians. They deserve their place on our TVs, even today.

I very rarely come across petitions that I feel HAVE to be signed.
I have a 4 year old nephew.. and I fear that C BBC is not enough for the lad.
He will love the exploits of Stan and Laurel as much as his great grandfather, grandfather and father have done.

I have been a massive fan for as long as I can remember, and there is very little that can touch the comic genius of their act. At almost 100 years on they still have me in stitches, and it is a crime not to show them on permanent tv repeats, after all we the viewing public have to endure some horrendous tripe that is inflicked on us, so come on lets have some pure class instead PLEASE.

Too many remakes, revivals and docudramas without the audience seeing the real deal. Bring them back to our screens! I have great memories of being introduced to them 15 years ago, let another generation experience it. Old doesn't have to mean worthless, they are pure gold

I used to watch all of my grandfathers video cassette copies of Laurel & Hardy. They were amazing, and still to this day hold a special place in my heart. Bring them back so that younger people can enjoy them :)

It's about time! It's OK to put them on BBC2 or BBC4 but surely they would be better than some of the unwatchable reality dross?
