I was a call-boy in the Glasgow Empire Theatre when Stan & Ollie played at that theatre - that was in the days before PA systems were in use and now in my mid eighties, I will always remember knocking on the dressing room door sayin "On Stage Mr Hardy" and "On Stage Mr Laurel."

Without a doubt the greatest comedy duo of all time with fantastic support actors. Bring back Laurel, and Hardy double bill,mornings BBC2- fantastic memories in the lead up to Christmas !

Happily sign this... Laurel and Hardy films were apart of my childhood. I am 25 years old and I cannot imagine what my humour would be like If I hadn't watched these two as a child. Long Live the memory of Laurel and Hardy.

With four children ages 4 to 14, I've made it a tradition to get out the box set of Laurel and Hardy shorts to entertain the family. It's a shame that they're not shown on TV anymore. Let's hope it can happen :o)
